BUNACO MUTE

Usage Precautions and Care Instructions
Each BUNACO mute is handcrafted from natural beech wood, making every piece unique.
Variations in wood grain, knots, and color are natural characteristics of the material and part of its unique beauty.

Usage Precautions

Insert the mute securely into the instrument before use, and always remove it after playing.

Leaving the mute in the instrument may cause damage to the instrument or mute and could result in unexpected injury.

Handle with care and avoid dropping or subjecting the mute to strong impacts.

Strong impacts may cause damage or breakage.

After use, remove all moisture from inside the mute and allow it to dry thoroughly in a well-ventilated, shaded area.

Before storing, wipe away any moisture on the surface with a soft, dry cloth.
Do not rinse with water or immerse the mute in any liquid, as this may cause damage. Do not dry or store the mute in direct sunlight.

Do not expose the mute to prolonged direct sunlight or ultraviolet (UV) rays.

This may cause deterioration or discoloration of both the wood and the cork.

The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for damage or breakage resulting from impact, sudden temperature changes, misuse, or improper handling.

Care Instructions

After Playing
  • After each use, turn the mute upside down to completely drain any moisture from inside.
  • Allow it to air-dry naturally in a well-ventilated, shaded place away from direct sunlight.
  • If moisture remains on the surface, wipe it off promptly with a soft, dry cloth.
Cork Care
  • If the cork becomes dry, cracked, or worn, the mute may not fit securely in the instrument and could slip during use.
To prevent accidental damage, we recommend replacing the cork when signs of wear become noticeable.
